On my most recent trip to Disneyland Paris with work, I was given a room at the Hotel Cheyenne.

I have stayed here before but since then it has undergone a pretty cute refurbishment.

Heres my review.

The Hotel Cheyenne is one of the value accommodations at Disneyland Paris and therefore is one of the furthest from the parks themselves but don't let that put you off.

DLP is tiny in comparison to Walt Disney World and you can easily walk along to the Disney Village in approx 15 minutes from this resort.

The Cheyenne sits just across the walkway from the Santa Fe, another value property.

Above you can see the walk that you would take to the parks or Disney Village. Alternatively you could take a complimentary shuttle bus from the hotel to the bus drop off point which is just by the Eurostar terminal and Disney Village.

Theming, Decor and Facilities

The Cheyenne has always been a western, cowboy themed resort but since its refurb about 18 months ago, this property now features modern decor and toy story touches throughout the rooms.

Rooms feature

- either 2 double beds or 1 double and a sofa bed
- desk area
- tv
- bathroom with shower over bath
- hairdryer in bathroom
- ceiling fan (no air con)
- Safe
- european sockets and a couple of USB ports

There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but by complete luck I managed to find out that the coffee vending machines in the hotel blocks give you one free drink per night of your stay.
This was never explained to me when I checked in, but all you do is use your room key card and it will dispense your drink of choice for you. Pretty cool.

The hotel itself features a buffet restaurant and a country saloon style bar with some pretty cool bar stools.

You won't find a pool at the value hotels, but you will still get character meets and greets at selected times throughout your stay (usually in the morning) and there is a play area and on site shop.

One thing this hotel does have that is unique is that is offers pony rides out in the courtyard area at various times, so your little ones may want to try this.

I have never eaten an evening meal at one of the hotels, as I am always in the parks, but I do like to fill up on a few croissants in the morning sometimes when I have a busy day ahead.

The breakfast is mainly continental, meat, cheese, bread and yoghurt, but there are also a few items like bacon, baked beans and scrambled egg.

Personally I think this hotel offers amazing value for money!

within walking distance to the parks but also with amazing theming. The decor and modern features make this one my favourite of the value properties and having stayed at this and Santa Fe, I would choose this one every time!

if you would like a price for the Cheyenne or any of the Disneyland properties, do not hesitate to get in touch! I can always match the online price for you and sometimes even get packages a little cheaper!

Just head to the 'book with me tab' at the top
